Borelians Land 6 Noms and 1 Win!

A grand time was had by all at this year’s ACT-CO Gala. Borelians Community Theatre was very nicely represented garnering 7 nominations and winning one THEA award.

Oliver Twist was nominated for a special adjudicator’s award for all of the children, ‘Fagin’s Ensemble’. So a big shout out to our young cast! Well done!

A Streetcar Named Desire was nominated for 6 awards in the drama category, including, Best Costume Design (Janet Huehn and Hennie Plat-Vroom), Best Actor (David Geene), Best Actress (Annette Stokes), Best Stage Management,  and a special adjudicator’s nod for overall cast ensemble.

And the winner of BCT’s only THEA of the evening was Michael Serres for Best Sound Design! Not only did he design the sound, he also ran it for every performance!

Congrats to all for a wonderful season. Let’s do great things next year!
