Thriller in Port Perry!

“Well Susy – now all the children have gone to bed – we can talk.”

Frederick Knott only wrote a handful of plays over his lifetime – but you’ve probably heard of two of them: Dial M For Murder and Wait Until Dark. Wait Until Dark ran on Broadway for 11 months, and two years in London. The film, starring Audrey Hepburn, Alan Arkin and Richard Crenna was a box-office smash in 1967.

Borelians Community Theatre and the Port Perry Town Hall Players are pleased to present this tense, and gripping play about a blind woman named Susy Hendrix who is being conned by three desperate criminals. But just when the conmen think they have the upper hand, Susy proves to be surprisingly brave and resourceful.

Starring Justine Scott as Susy, Colin Murphy as Mr. Roat, Graeme Powell as Mike, Italo Lopresti as Carlino, Stephanie Gnandt as Gloria , and Harry Lavigne as Sam Hendrix. With Kyle Brough and Keith Kidd as police officers.
