Next in our Free Live Reading Series…..

We are excited to announce that Borelians Community Theatre is offering the second in a series of live readings, this time presenting, Parfumerie, by Miklos Laszlo (translated by E.P Dowdall), on Saturday, December 18 at 7:00 pm. This witty, romantic comedy, set in a parfumerie in Budapest, was the inspiration for “The Shop around the Corner,” “In the Good Old Summertime,” and most recently, “You’ve Got Mail.” Amid the Christmas rush, the employees of the shop become entangled in the intrigues of one another’s lives, including two bickering employees who are unaware that they are each other’s anonymous sweetheart pen pal. Sometimes people don’t realize that what they really want might be right in front of them.
This program is free for anyone to attend. General admission, no tickets and no assigned seating. If you feel like giving back, we will graciously accept donations to benefit Town Hall Theatre. Current public health policies ask that we check for full vaccination status and collect contact tracing from everyone before entering the theatre. Audience members must wear facemasks while inside the building.
