2010/2011 marks our 40th anniversary season!
To celebrate, we would like to invite you to our October 15 performance of:
Noel Coward’s BLITHE SPIRIT
and our
40th ANNIVERSARY GALA
We will have wine, and the event will be catered by Salvatore’s Trattoria & Cafe (delicious Italian cuisine). On display will be archival material from the last 40 years, video clips demonstrating some of our fantastic productions, and beautiful costumes from our award-winning costume designers. It will be a great opportunity to mingle with past and present members of the Borelians, and get to know Port Perry’s terrific theatre community!
The hilarious role of a slightly potty and very eccentric medium, Madame Arcati, is brilliantly portrayed by the lovely Mary Delaney from the Village of Brougham, who will be remembered as Snout in the Borelian’s award-winning production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Port Perry’s own Lorraine Chiusolo, a consummate actor who has frequently graced the Borelian’s stage, brings the dead to life with her magical interpretation of the deceased wife, Elvira, while Jamie Morgan, recently seen in The Philadelphia Story, beautifully plays the part of Ruth, current wife of Charles Condomine. After a long absence, Oshawa’s Rick Kerr returns to the Port Perry stage in the role of the perplexed Charles Condomine, with Port Perry’s gorgeous Lee Laycoe and the debonair James Gilbert playing Mrs. and Dr. Bradman, respectively.

The Gala will take place in the Patron’s Lounge of Town Hall 1873 immediately after the show.
